Mr. Rubenstein began his career in large law firms where he handled corporate mergers and acquisitions as well as tax law. Graduating at the top of his class, Mr. Rubenstein earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Law School in 1978. In law school, he was recognized with academic awards of Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi, given only to the best students. In 1971 he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the University of Michigan.
